Luis Izzo
Born in the vibrant port city of Veracruz, Mexico, Luis Izzo was immersed in the rich tapestry of Latin rhythm and movement from a very young age. His early exposure to the region's traditional folk dances ignited a lifelong passion for performance and cultural expression.
This passion led him to formal training at the prestigious University of Guadalajara Ballet, where he refined his technique, discipline, and artistic sensibility. This strong classical foundation provided the perfect springboard into the world of social Latin dance.
With over 18 years of professional teaching experience, Professor Izzo is a master of his craft. He possesses an in-depth knowledge of Latin dance, knowing all its secrets and nuances. His true gift lies in his exceptional ability to communicate these techniques effectively to his students, ensuring they achieve a high quality of development and a deep understanding of the dance.
For many years, Luis has taught and performed across Europe, bringing an authentic and captivating Latino style to every class and stage. His style is distinguished by its genuine Latin flavor—a powerful blend of technical precision, rhythmic complexity, and infectious energy.
Specializing in Salsa, Bachata, and other Latin genres, Luis Izzo is not just an instructor; he is a cultural ambassador who empowers his students to find confidence, joy, and connection through the art of dance.
